I'll explain it to you, modelling takes time. Time is precious, and can be spent on other things, such as modelling something for yourself, or modelling something to sell in a store, like the TGC Store. Precious time can also be spent washing the car, painting the house, walking the dog etc., but that's not relevant.
The reason why people don't want to make a model for you, is because it takes time and is not easy. Modelling a toilet is rather complicated, since it has some odd shapes. Then, you have to unfold the faces of the model to make a texture for it. And texturing takes even more time. When it's all done, you'll either be satisfied or frustrated, depending on how it looks. If it looks good, you want something in return. Just giving away a model is like working four-five hours to afford some nice, cold beer, and then giving it to the hobo in the alley behind that building in town where no one ever goes.
Hope that helps somehow, and although modelling takes time, it's fun to learn. I'd suggest you try some free modelling tools and start making some yourself. You'll see that you learn pretty quick and easy once you've got the hang of the modelling application.
