Just curious, where is the best place to learn how to animate sprites?

EDIT: By this I mean how to set up the sprite to make it look like it's walking, jumping... whatever.

You need to have a sprite tilesheet...what I mean by that is, you need to have a sprite character first of all...and divide it up into little blocks (lets just use 32x32 for example).

So you need to make a 32x32 image of the sprite normal, another 32x32 for his left foot going forward, his right food going forward, etc. etc. You need to make one for ever action...oh yeah this all has to be in one Image....so lets say you have the same as mine, it would be "96x128" so that is "3 images by 4 images"...Hope this helped

do you love video games a lot ¿¿¿ then comeon down too game zone252 @ http://www.freewebs.com/gamezone252/
