I have a learn programming book in 24 hours book. It's really good, and it gives you knowledge on C,C++,Java.
(which are all pretty much the same thing.)(Of course they have differences, but we won't argue about it here.)
My plan is too, spend most my time learning dbp, then go to C++, then go to Visual Basics. Because I'm using dbp as my introductory language, C++, as the language every programmer should know, then going down to VB, because it's a little simplier then C++.Anyway, once you've learned C++, you've learned them all in a way.
Nevertheless, I'll still be programming with all of them alternating and such. For now, I'd say I still have another year's worth of DBP, programming to learn though.
Mattman, if you're wondering, those books really do work. Okay, so you probebly won't learn how to make a game in 24 hours, but they're very good introductory books to the language.I suggest after you get adjusted to db/dbp/enhanced(or whatever), you start reading one of those books.(well that's what I'm doing anyway.)
Yellow:Wanna publish my game microsoft, cuz i no u rich so...Can I have my bag of money now?
Microsoft: *snicker* Tip of the month-Microsoft will never(probebly) publish your game.
