I have created a rather good rip-off of http://www.blockaction.net/?lang=en and am looking for people to playtest it.

First of all, 2 main reasons why i made this ripoff:
1. as a programmer i have the freedom to critique games to my favor
2. they changed sites and the new one's servers are down all the time.

Second, it is not meant to be completely the same and is, by no means, finished. I have yet to add moving blocks, ladders, and anything else I can dream up. Realistic suggestions would be appriciated, Although im still working on bugs and balancing the physics. For example: you can scale a wall by wall kicking repeatedly

Third, the controls are simple and have been modified a lot to fit my version of the game. Seeing as Block Action did NOT have 4-way gravity.

Left, Right, Up, And Down, are basically the ONLY controls.

if the gravity is down,
up makes you jump,
down makes you crouch,
left is walk left,
and right is walk right...

the rest explains itself and you'll figure it out. Plus I dont want to ramble.

try testing out each of the blocks before you get down to actually making levels. For additional advice on how to make levels and how to play i recomend checking out the Block Actions new location: http://www.blockquest.net/ but I must warn you, their servers are always down during the day.

as for unpacking, you can just decompress and run the executable.
I hope you can figure it out.

Please post errors and suggestions and have fun.
Post for help as well.

Pretty nice! The only major suggestion I have is to add some kind of help screen that just gives a brief description of what each block does, that would help a lot of people get started faster.
