Ever played Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion? It's a got a few years on its back, but is still a beautiful game. It's also worth taking inspiration from it if you're making medieval game content

ok this i can understand, but you have to take in account that we do use fpsc, not there enjin, we have to think about framerate, well i can make great high poly modles just like anyone else, but theas all are low poly. have you ever loaded a great modle into fpsc and well you cant get more then five in and then there goes your frame rate, well low poly guys are harder to texture then high poly.

The models in Oblivion are fairly well optimized and not really THAT high-poly, the same goes for nearly any modern game. They put the details into the normal maps and textures, not the polygons. FPSC has a fairly decent normal mapper for characters, and it's a technique worth experimenting with as it is widely used.
