Very sorry if you thought you were going to get a D3 Flashlight, very sorry.

Is it possible to make an FPSC X9 Torch hold one of the scripts, such as game freak 16's remake of s4real's flashlight V2 script? If so, how?

EDIT: ( So you will NOT be able to hold an weapon at the same time as you hold the flashlight )

...s4real's flashlight is about as good as it's gonna get, at this present time.

Would you really want to not be able to hold a weapon at the same time? That seems like it would make it really scary if...ohhhh!

Nice one. I can see how you'd want that exact response...

I made one. But am having troubles getting it into FPSC. With the Crosshair as the Flash light area. And the weapon to have a beam of light from the end.

That's a good idea Deathead! Instead of using a HUD for the flashlight, using the crosshair would allow you to implement it as a weapon. Modelling the light ray could be done, too.

Very good idea... now you just gotta keep it from shooting. (Yet another reason to have scripted weapons)

I am thinking of making a script that requires batteries to work. i.e. one battery gives five mins of light.

Hybrid's idea is kinda cool...

EDIT: Hy, you should make the flashlight hold three batteries as maximum, that's an fair amount of time [ 15 Minutes ]

Make a empty frame, and applie that to the shooting animation. And make it a melee weapon which causes no damage.

Or... you could make the flashlight a weapon that bashes enemies over the head causing 1 damage and them to fall on the ground.

I'd use it all the time.

pllllleeeaasse make it quick, i want my project veeeery scary, so i need a flashlight that u cannot hold a weapon at the same time. Well, can't u use the animation of the flashlight (melee atack) the same as a knife for exemple? Just for not having to do all the animation again. In google u can find a image with the Doom 3 flashlight beam (that is the same one as S.T.A.L.K.E.R. )
that u can use.
Well, when it come ready, can u send me a e-mail? xD im lost in this forum, verify if ur topic is atualized its soooo boring...

heres a thought, if you could script weapons (lol) and if there was a command to have an item follow your gun, make a flashlight gun, give it a script to have a light follow, and just use sumething out of light fx or something

Yes, but you cannot make anything follow your crosshairs. However, you could bake a dynamic light follow the camers, casting shadows.

Give me shome time. I will release it with my everything script.

That is just what I need for a First Person Mystery game. I agree with Hybrid, it should have a few minutes of battery, but there should also be a version without that limit i.e. for people who want to just have a flashlight in the game.
