Every time I use dark physics commands, it opens up my internet browser to Nvidia drivers download page(not for Physx) every time. So I can't use it in my games.

Should only do take you to the web page if you have not install them.

Also checking, you have put the DarkPhysX key in.

Have you updated your drivers?

As HowDo said, it should only take you there if you do not have the required (Newest) drivers.

If you updated Dark Physics without updating your drivers, this is the problem.

think you done what I did to mine and it would run normal programes but not Dark Physic.

hersasomething I have posted a few times, make sure you make a copy of your keys or you'll be re doing that bit.

Quote: ""This problem can occur from time to time. To solve it go to c:\program files\installshield installation information. You will probably see a large list of folders in here all with very long names. There will likely be two folders for Dark Physics {8EC28FBE-59C4-4FBC-B707-F8FDAE3CCAEE} and {76431DB7-7827-4BA3-98B6-C686AAD21868}. To confirm these are the correct ones go into each of these folders and open Setup.ini. There will be a listing for AppName. Ensure it contains the keywords Dark Physics. If it does then delete both of these folders.

Now go to the directory where DB Pro is installed and then into the Compiler folder and finally plugins-licensed. In here delete DarkPhysics.dll, NxCharacter.dll, NxCooking.dll, NxExtensions.dll and PhysXLoader.dll. These are the core files for Dark Physics.""

Search for the numbers, unless Vista hides every thing another way.

Seem each system as a diffrent name for that folder.

If you find it and can remove it, it will or should put the system back to if you had never put it on.

If that fails write an email to Mike saying what you tried thats what I did and he posted the above.

My computer is doing this. It's quite annoying. It's because I have an Nvidia 8700 512mb which is actually two 8600 256's in SLI. My problem was that I needed the updated driver but the 8700 isn't officially supported. So, I had to hack around it and use the updated 8600 drivers to make it work.

So, it did work. I could run the new stuff. But the card detects a driver problem now so it opens up the web page. It's not the worst, except that I can't run fullscreen projects until I revert back to the factory driver.

In short, if you update your driver to the newest official version then it will work and it won't open the web page.

Come see the WIP!

I've had the same problem with Vista since the day the upgrade to Dark Physics came out, and gone through all the necessary steps several times. I've posted the problem, implemented all suggestions in all responses. Can't shake it. I'm currently confined to using the older version of Dark Physics, which does not provoke the problem. I use an Nvidia 8500GT card.
