Yahoo! A much better version of operation 101 with a totally different theme. When I reformatted my computer I lost everything, so yeah.
Alright, the storyline:

It is the year 2100, and a new type of nuclear bomb has been invented. It hasn't been built yet, though.
Your ship has most of the materials needed to build that bomb. However, once it is taken, that bomb will destroy the entire universe and mankind. This cannot happen.
You are a trained soldier, and now you must save the world.

Basically, it's my version of Halo.

EDIT: DOZENS MORE SCREENS ON NEXT PAGE!

bit OTT, but otherwise looks like a pretty good game. I liked the lighting in screenie 1, but in screenie 2 you need lights and light fittings to make it more realistic. Overall, its lookin good!

Cool screenshots.

My only advice that hasn't already been given, however, would be to change the pistol, which is extremely outdated for use by a soldier in 2100.

But again, the screens look awesome

The screenies look nice, but again you need fittings and a more effective light in screenie 2.
For a more updated wepon, u could use the jackhammer but make fire only 1 round.

adriano, once i get FPSC, I can help you if you want. Only problem, I have Vista. Which sucks but it still works. Hopefully once I get FPSC the latest patch will allow me to use Vista fluidly.

It's now GideonB but I can't change it.

F0rSaKeN you are right about the story but I think it's ok if all you are doing is killing. Simple story, simple ways to kill, addictive style and low sys reqs make a great game sometimes right?
EDIT: Adriano I emailed you. my email is [email protected] it says The Game Creators Forums as a subject anyway.

Maybe you're right. But those kind of games doesn't make the people pay a lot of attention. The best games have good stories, a lot of ways to kill... THAT is what the people wants!

Not always the case Deadly Massacre...

I played a game from Sigma Team called Zombie Shooter. Here was the story: There are zombies. Go Kill them before we have a epidemic on our hands. It shows that games like Painkiller, Zombie Shooter etc. all have 3 things in common. 1)Many enemies to butcher 2)Many ways to butcher an enemy 3) Abosolutley no storyline at all except in between.

A new screenshot, part of level 3 where you face the first boss... that screen's coming tomorrow. Right now, it's just like the bunker or something. I'm quite proud of it, actually.

Ok, that cool. By the way, I won't be able to start until 25th August or whenever I get the PC because the email I am hoping from Acer hasn't arrived. Anyways I need a new PC lol. Might triple-boot Vista, XP and Linux. Vista for FPSCX10, XP for FPSCX9 and Linux for all else lol. Anyways hows the game going?
EDIT: I got the email. It says I can install XP without voiding the warranty! WOOT! Means I can install FPSC quicker than I thought. But I won't be able to get until next friday because my mum gets paid weekly lol so one more week.

xp didnt work. bloody color depth went wrong. i am looking at mods for the Unreal Engine. They may help you with some design ideas. One in particular was a zombie survive against the waves thing availbile for Unreal Torunament and UT2004. It seems quite good. Anwyays hows that game going?

hm... that's a shame. i guess you could try vista and upgrade to v112.
i'm messing around with an issue with plys mod (just for the sake of the vehicles), but otherwise level 3 is being polished and going well.
i am currently downloading platform game studio to view your level, i'll tell you how it is afterwards.
