i made a weapon everything is working but what is bugging me is the hud icon. how can i get it transparent,the hud icons on fpsc are DDS and i dont think i can make anything transparent on a DDS file. is the any other formats i can make the image so that FPSC works with it and have it become transparent

Also, PNGs are usually the best format for transparency.

DDS can be transparent. You have to export them with the alpha channel.
