ok got a new game idea i might be working on:

picture super smash brothers, but set in medevil times. you create and save a character then fight them agaist others (probably online).

You can pick all swords of wepons from swords, to bows, to bare hands.

your health goes up like in super smath brothers, but instead of being able to be smacked around easier, you do a finishing move.

when you do a finishing move a bar appears with a arrow on it. both players continualy tap a key as fast as they can, the arrow goes in a directin depending who tapps faster. if the arrow is in an area (that gets bigger the more damage they take) when the time runs out (probably about 10 seconds) then the attacker kills the other guy.

if the arrow is not in that area, the defender pushes him off, and the fight continues.

*wew* so i need some crit on it and some suggestions: should you only be able to do the finishing move when they are on the ground? how many players should be able to fight at a time? when the finishing bar comes up, should time stop fro all players, or if they are in a team fight, should his teamate be able to help him? ect...

Hmm, I can picture all of that. Sounds great, cant wait if you make it.

At first glance, I'm a mediocre mech pilot. Look again and you will see my battlemech's computer code rushing through my eyes. My Mech And I Are One!

it should be able to if you have multiple USB or Firewire or Serial ports on your pc. But I'm not sure (I'm a petty DB Lite user with the demo of Dark Basic to compile the crap I code.)

Someone could make a new DLL if they dont support multiple pads on one comp.

since its using DX you can use multiple pads ... first series of MS pads were able to be connected in a row to 4 pads ...

dx should have game device support till up to 8 as far as i saw some long time ago ...
