I'm making a game with a ship where you can go in all directions. I was wondering if it is worth it ,for when you go up, if you see the nose tilting upwords or is it just better to position it up and down. 'Cause it sort of hard to do the nose tilting stuff.
Thanks

Turning the nose up and down makes it look just that little bit more polished, however, it is not necessary. I would advise that you do make it that way, if just for the satisfaction of adding that little bit extra to the visual physics of the game

you could always add it later, when your adding finishing touches to the game

You know whats weird???
Donald duck never wore pants, yet everything time he got out of the shower he put a towel around his waist...
Whats with that???

ReD_eYe hit the nail on the head. bothering yourself with petty stuff like that can bog you down. i would also suggest that you make the engine first, get it to work properly, then get fancy with all the visual tidbits.

in answer to your ? : definitely make the ship bob and weave with motion. players might not notice the subtle movements; but they definitely will notice nothing at all. that would be just like having a character in a 3rd person game just stand there motionless; you gotta have some kind of idle motions (oxymoron? ) whether it be a person fidgeting while standing still, or a ship tilting before turning/pitching/accelerating.
