I've compiled a .exe in DBPro (using Dark Physics) on 32-bit Windows XP.

I took the compiled .exe and tried to run it on 32-bit Vista. But Vista will not recognize the Dark Physics commands in the compiled .exe, it works until it hits a point in the program that uses Dark Physics commands.

The graphics card drivers (and everything else) on Vista are up-to-date, PhysX is the latest version as well ... so why wont the .exe run?

Any ideas?

erm i find sometimes, it needs the nxcooking.dll and nx"somethingelse".dll to run, just put them in the same folder as the .exe, and try that.

I put the two NX files in the windows system 32 folder and everything worked fine for me. before that after installing the update I was putting those dll's in the same folder as the project, and yes that works too.

Thank you.

I'm gonna have to try that.

Whats the rule when you reach a point where you want to distribute the program (like selling a game)? Are you allowed to include the nx*****.dll's?
