Maybe because you copied and pasted it wrong.


Seriously... you can't expect copy/paste to solve all your problems. Try reading a scripting tutorial to at LEAST give you an idea of what to do with a script and what parts of the script are ASKING for replacement.

I put it into the "main" of the trigger zone. Do I have to put it to the "main" of a person?

I love the FPSC! But it goes slow on my stupid computer!

That script is not very good, because you need always make new hud image, and it takes space from your computer. I use always HUDTEXT= X command. Whit it you just write text to place of X , and it will show in game.

And if you write long scripts, you should use that CODE SNIPPET thing...

While I agree that this is a good method, I prefer to use state 0 to initialize the HUDs, and then as soon as all HUDs are created I move to state 1. That way the HUDs are loaded in memory and are called up only when needed, instead of needing to be initialized every time the script passes through.

Well actually I don't want the message to pop up I just want sound when you press enter like Doom 3. But in Doom 3 you click on the character.
