FPSC Classic Scripts / ok so i need some help on making a better Ai script

ok. so im really new to the whole scripting part of FPSC. So bear with me
I have the FPI Edit pad program and want to somehow fix the ai;'s script.
Because its not the greatest. The ai already set has the enemy just stand there and if i walk in front of him he dont see me but randomly he will run into the wall and then shoot me with poor acuracy. I want to fix this.

Ok so lets edit the script named pace.fpi in like scriptbank\people.pace.fpi
and the script cover.fpi in scriptbank\people\cover.fpi

how can i change those to match what i want. this what i want
-No running into walls
-Be able to take some sort of cover if possible if im shooting at him
-Shoot at me and pursue me if im in sight
-Bascially anything you can think of that would make a great eneymy to fight who is smart

Im asking a big deal here i know, but i dont understand this scripting thing like at all so if you can help me with the terms used in scripting thatd be a help..For example "Animate=31" what does it mean by animate and 31?

So if you can help me at all that would be a big help and if you have any links to good FPSC scripting tutorials thatd be a great help
Or if you already have a script like this i would gladly accept that

Please go download the official community guide from a sticky thread in the Chat board.

Open it, and look for the scripting tutorials.

Follow them, it will help you to understand scripting much better, AND there's a tutorial at the end for making an AI.

You should try editing simple scripts to start out with and keep moving up, worked for me.

The v2 migration will be SWEET!
Our little FPSC is finally growing up.

I know that meteorite is working on Hyper AI, which I cant wait to see released.

Im trying to do what i can to help with it lol

But what he has done already seems to be very good, i dont have the script but i heard it was good
