i've animated a character on Poser 5 and exported it in .3DS, i loaded my object into DB program but it gave me an error, it cant animate my object. am i missing something here?

don't quote me on this but I believe you may need to convert the *.3ds file to a *.x file. You should be able to use a command within DB to do this. Like I said I'm unsure, kind of new to this myself. But, I believe that's what you need to do. I'll check through my commands book. If I see the command I'll log back on later and post it for you.

it's a hidden command


syntax:
3ds2x filename.3ds, filename.x

thank for ya help, but it didnt work, "cannot animate object", i thinkg its related to the Poser program.
