I am trying to create a 3d surface constructed from triangles exported from a CAD package. I thought I could use "make object triangle" to make each triangle, then "make mesh from object" to convert them all (apart from the first) to a mesh then add these mesh's to the original object using (add limb). However all triangles added as meshes simply disappear - any idea what I am doing wrong ? Or is there a better way to achieve this ?

Thanks in advance

rather than creating triangles in this fashion... i'd suggest using a memblock to create them instead

use an array to store vertex points then once the user connects them up you can then export them into the memblock as a triangle.
the way the memblocks are setup each 3 vertex you put in = 1 triangle

i'll see if i can't mock up a lil code later to show you howto achieve this.

Any help would be greatefully received, I am messsing around with memblocks but it is all a bit daunting. If you get chance to help then great, I will let you know how I get on - do you know of any good resources to help with memblock coding ?
