If you set .jpg quality to 100% I find it to be about the same as png.

AI: I suggest you invest some time (and possibly money) learning a good paint program. Photoshoop, Paint shop Pro, Gimp etc

It will look immeasurably better than anything MSpaint can produce.

Every JPEG save (even in 100%) decreases the image's quality (lossy). Why? JPEG's intended for the net.

If you want to save an image without decreasing quality (lossless), use PNG and it'll look like what you've done in Photoshop.

I prefer PNG, better resolution and I've found that they load pretty fast.

They are average I'd say. The yellow barrel looks a little out of place.

I actually really like that first screen. The second one, too bland.

Why the name change?

First screen looks pretty good, second one needs some colour and detail.

I wanted to change my name for some reason.

I'll add more visuals in the second screen.

Not too bad, but the second screen could use more debris. I mean, the wall blew up! Maybe add some chunks of wall to the floor?

The screens are pretty good, but one thing.. Those ceiling lights are bothering me.. Those lights are usually found in a tall workshop hanging from the rafters way up above.. Having them where you have them, it looks like you can hit your head if you dont duck around the room, and you'll surely hit them if you jump.. Maybe use a wall light object instead

Good point; I'll replace them.

Thanks, but this is only the infiltration part of the level. Once you get into the actual level, you'll encounter an office & some heavily armed Spetsnaz.

Washington is unknown to the foreign governments a la Splinter Cell, so they think he's a goon as well and will try to dispatch him.

Apologies for not being around in some time, I been having strep throat + fever.

Kola will be put off until I feel better, no use in straining myself in FPSC. Sorry again.

I think you mean move the mouse and press M1 over & over again. T'was sarcasm, young Grasshopper. (why it's capitalized, idk)

I'll be working on Kola today as I've nothin' else to do, so just wait for a screen or two.

All right, I'll believe you AI...

Or, well, I'll try. Just don't rush it just to get some screens out. Well-thought level design is always better than a half-finished, rushed one.

Okay, been working on and tweaking the new storyline to see fit.

*Ahem*... (the storyline is in quote tags to separate it)

Quote: "In October of 2009, all communications between The US and fellow EU state Finland were lost. The Central Intelligence Agency sent diplomats & military police overseas to that country to find out what the matter was. They discovered that Russia was trying to take back their neighbor after 67 years. Russian mercenaries and pro-Communist Finns formed a coalition: Свобода на соседей (Freedom onto Neighbors). They then took hostage over half a dozen different computer experts and forced them by gunpoint to disable the computers of the CIA, FBI, KGB, NATO, and to release viruses onto every single PC in the EU and the States. This took several days, about two weeks. Then the FoN went underground. The entire allied association of the European Union and the United States declated war on Russia, and Finland joined in the fray. This is a war for freedom, a war for information. A war of over 30 countries against a ton of rebels and mercenaries.

You play as Raymond Washington, an elite commando for an unknown counterterrorism team. Washington is in the covert branch, meaning that he will infiltrate an area via stealth and shoot his way out, collecting intel and destroying targets as he goes.

Part 1: Finland - Part 2: Kola"

Also, I have absolutely no idea how to speak Russian, so if anyone can do some free voiceovers for me or translate them into something that's not a bunch of symbols, then that would be great.

*Salute*

Wow, everythings so neatly stacked in the corners for a room that got destroyed...

Also those lights are too big and too low for that room. I suggest changing them to something smaller.

New screen looks good, but I suggest you add the rubble overlay on the ground near the destroyed wall. I would also add some broken boxes and rubble

Twitch tweak hit the nail on the head when talking about your earlier screens:
Quote: "Those ceiling lights are bothering me.. Those lights are usually found in a tall workshop hanging from the rafters way up above.. Having them where you have them, it looks like you can hit your head if you dont duck around the room, and you'll surely hit them if you jump.. Maybe use a wall light object instead"

Stop using those big warehouse lights in 1-segment-tall rooms. It's out of place.

Here's a pic of the stairwell; I forgot to tone down the light and I will do so.

Light tends to leak through floors and ceilings for no reason in this level.

See, that is a perfect spot were you could use that one warehouse light. It is a two segment spot and would look much better right there. The one you are using right now looks a little small. Other than that, it looks good!

Thanks, but that warehouse light works in a 5x5x2 room, not in a 2x1x2 stairway.
