I bought darkbasic recently and when i try the execute function it says something along the line of "command file can't be found" Please help so that I can actually test the game, and also for the same reason a exe. can't be made.

Seems you're new so I'll have you know, for the purpose of allowing better use of the forum search, if you would refrain from simply using "help" or such for your subject title it will greatly help others who may be using the forum search looking for the same info.

The execute function? as in the EXECUTE FILE command? If so, make sure the file is in the same folder as your code file or you put in the proper path into the command and you have permission to access it.

i think he is just reffering to a function like using the function command and calling it.


can you run any commands?

I think he's trying to create an .exe from simple code.


Can you please post your program so that we can see what may be wrong? No matter what, as far as I know DarkBASIC should compile and save any code into an .exe file, but I could be wrong. If you post your program we may be able to help you figure out what's wrong.
