Ok, heres how you get a 3ds to JPG

1.Open up your renderer
2.Hit the "prt scr" buttong at the top right of your keyboard

3.Open MS Paint

4.Hit Ctrl+V

5.Save the image as a JPG file

And it has been converted!

Not all renderers have a save button. The Wings 3D renderer (to my knowledge) doesnt have one.

I'd actually use Alt+Print Screen

What about POV-RAY.

And, Print Screen ain't a bad idea either (as long as you don't need an art-quality 2000x2000+ image).

you can modify it to your hearts content or use another method like povray if you want to mess around with two types of texturing. one for pov and one for DB.

sometimes it's hard to use your converter to make the iso images indi cause when you try and move the camera around certain objects dont rotate properly, (especially 3ds ones with dodgey pivot points). so rendering useing a 3d program is prolly a better bet, though more time consuming.

.Jpg is an image format as .3ds is for 3d shapes. Both differ greatly.

If I've seen it all before, why's this bus taking me back again? @_@

HUH?! Have you tried exporting to 3DS?

Is there a demo version of 3DS or something that is save disabled?

I know GMax, but I haven't seen any version of 3DS that cannot export 3DS meshes.

I herd if you use Truespace you can export every frame of animation as a Jpeg.
I really don't know but I think Disco Stu said something aroung that subject.
