I agree: the second shot is, I think, the best example of lighting, because you have contrast between the lit and unlit areas. Screenies 1 and 3 just look... sort of dark, instead scary. Using lights in the most dramatic places works better than keeping everything in the gloom, I think.

The actuall content of the rooms is fairly effective: the 3rd screenie in particular has enough clutter in it to make it look realistic and interesting, and make you believe in the world much more.

Yeah, I noticed that the lighting is different from when i took the shots, at least they do to me, but in my next level, i've added more lights. But the over all idea is as follows...

Your name is known to 2 people in the US, you and the SecDef, and there is good reason too. For 5 years, you've trained and trained to be the protecter of a top secret facility where things that the the population would do better with out knowing. 5 hours ago, messages stopped transmitting from the inner base, and you were called into action. You have 3 objectives
1- Save any scientist surviviors
2- Find cause of radio crash
3- Destroy anything that might hinder your mission
But as you decend deeper and deeper into the bunker, not knowing your locked in, you begin to notice that the goverment is slowly starting to see you more as a liablity than a soldier...

I know it's lengthy, but I want to get it out of the way. Thanks for responding.

that's not lengthy at all Dr Davenport. In fact that is short and sweet. very good story so far but you should see if you can expand on it a little bit. like why were you chosen and stuff like that.

@Apple Slicer: he's talking about his story.

Also, I've added a new model to be the main enemy, the mutant from the TGC store. Later in the game, you will notice some guards with green skin, model pack 4 guards, who are being *spoiler* EATEN from the inside by the first stage of these parasites.

(not like aliens chestbursters, they just burst out, mine eat their way out, maybe a model with some mutated parts and what not?)

Story Edit.

Your name is known to 2 people in the US, you and the SecDef, and there is good reason too. Since you were 18 years old, you've trained and trained to be the protecter of a top secret facility where things that the the population would do better with out knowing. 5 hours ago, messages stopped transmitting from the inner base, and you were called into action. You have 4 objectives
1- Save any scientist surviviors
2- Find cause of radio crash
3- Destroy anything that might hinder your mission
4- Eliminate any "unnessary" scientists who know too much
But as you decend deeper and deeper into the bunker and eventually the caves, you begin to notice that the goverment is slowly starting to see you more as a liablity than a soldier...

add some more trash to the floor, debris, papers, little bricks.. Also with those lab pics from the first couple screens, maybe add a desk lamp so you can get some lighting in there. it'll really make the scene scarier.
