i take it he's already made the animations?
if this is the case then he needs to make sure that the model is grouped into sections which are only affected by a single bone.
he can have more than 1 group per bone if it helps the animation to be shown better - but for ease it is best to stick to a single group per bone.
then he needs to export using JT DirectX 8.1 Exporter using these settings ->
then it should appear in DB when you use the
play animation function you'll then have 30*30 frames (time count*framecount)... default interpol will be 10frames per second - if you turn it off it resets to 30, but you'll never need it above 15 really.
