hey yall. well its been a few years since ive looked at DarkBasic and i was wondering if ya'll could fill me in on anything important that i need to know so i can get back to using DarkBasic.

what i have right now is the DarkBasic Classic and thats about it. im trying to learn the programming language right now but i was reading that there were some new updates and languages out. are they any good or useful to me right now?

also has anybody know if darkbasic is providing the oppertunity to be able to program games for the iphone and itouch yet? i thought i read an article about it.

mostly just need to advice from the experienced people on here. thanks alot.

I think you might me talking about seeing this?

But to answer your question, no, there is not capability for a BASIC language to program stuff for a totally different console, language, and system. The Game Creators just made a silly app for the iPhone, totally unrelated.

I'm not sure when you were first here, but DbPro is relatively new, I believe.

DarkGDK provides DbPro commands to use in Visual C++.

PureGDK is Dark Basic for Pure Basic

I could go on, but I won't. Just go ahead and check out the tool-line of the TGC products on their site. It's got everything you need.
