I am making a GUI system for my level editor and cannot get text to display above sprites. Is there a command/trick for this? Or would I have to make a sprite out of the text and go that route.

Here's a pic:

Sorry for JPEG quality, it says "text is here, under the sprite".

I think that sprites are displayed above text, so you'd have to do that, yes.

What I have done is simply make an image and that image contains the text. It makes it difficult to scale things without them being distorted, but it work.s

Yes I fixed it by making the text into an image/sprite.

The only problem is: what if you want to change the title? You would have to remake the windows.

well if you had multiple windows with different names you wouldn't want to make a whole load of images for each one.

What if you use PASTE SPRITE does the text go over the top then?

or you could make an image of just the text with transparent background and align it with the window.

The Universe has been erased by a mod because it was larger
than 240x80 pixels.

Everyone:

yes more then one image is kinda annoying but it does work lol i did it.

obese:

using a black transparent text image would be the same as using a image over and over lol
