To apply Multi-Game:
1. First build all your games.
2. Now download Multi-Game and copy all your game exe's into the 'data/games' folder so that all the games share the same 'Files' folder.
3. Now for each game go into it's 'Files/levelbank' folder and copy the 'level1.zip' folder into the 'data/levels' folder in the Multi-game folders.
4. Rename each 'level1.zip' file so it's the same name as the game, example: 'Chapter 1 - The Beginning.zip'.
5. Open the 'data/games.txt' file and type in all your game names, one on each line.
6. Edit the 'data/settings.txt' file if you want to.
7. Now make a shortcut to the game '.exe' files in the 'data/games' folder and place them in the root directory.
8. Make sure each shortcut name is the same as the game name.

To add encryption:
1. Download encryption files.
2. Copy everything into the root directory of previously applied Multi-Game folders allowing it to overwrite 'Multi-Game'.exe.
3. Go into the 'data' folder and open the 'unlock.txt' file.
4. Type in all the unlock codes for each game, one per line.
5. Run the 'Multi-Game Encryption.exe' file in the root directory and then either use the generated encryption key or type your own in.
6. Click 'Encrypt' and it will encrypt the games for you.

Don't forget, if you change your background image then change it in the settings file as well.

I hope this helps, knxrb

That is caused by the gamecore folder not being in the right place when the FPSC Game looks for it.
Make sure you put shortcuts in the root folder and you haven't just copy and pasted the '.exe' files.

So I did get it correctly then? I just forgot to put the 'Files' folder inside of data/game? And by root folder, u mean where the game was before I put it inside data/game?

and when i open multi-game.exe, it still won't show my game. I followed the instructions very clearly

I forgot to say, to have a screenshot of your game, then put a '.png' image in the 'data' folder and rename it so it's the same name as the game you want it to be associated with.
Do this for each game.

And I presume you've put the 'Files' folder in now?

Can you take a screenshot of the 'Multi-Game.exe' app running?

Have you applied Multi-Game and then copied everything from the encryption one and overwritten the previously built Multi-Game?

Or have you started from scratch with the encryption one?

That's your problem.
Go back to the instructions and follow them to the letter:
Quote: "To add encryption:
1. Download encryption files.
2. Copy everything into the root directory of previously applied Multi-Game folders allowing it to overwrite 'Multi-Game'.exe."

You need to put the 'z1.exe' shortcut into the root directory of the Multi-Game folders.

If there where file writing commands for FPSC then it could be done easily, by getting the game to write to a certain file when you get to a certain point butbecasue it doens't you can't go to Chapter 2 without having to select it.

I'm also now uploading the videos, it's one video for Multi-Game and one video for Multi-Game Encryption

@Mugen:

Did you save the image as a '.png' file or did you just rename another image file to a '.png'?

What error does it give you, if any?

Quote: "can u make it auto select then?"

What do you mean?
Do you want it to auto-select the last unlocked chapter when you satrt it up?

Yes! EXACTLY!

See, when on a cd, the autostart.ini file or w/e u put on a cd to make it auto activate, and when it does, it will open multi-game.exe (which can be renamed if u choose to), then just like the cd, it will auto select the last chapter that was unlocked and exit multi-game.exe!

and no error, it just wont open it. it stays on multi-game.exe forever....

you can't use FPSC on a cd Mugen. FPSC dynamically creates/deletes files and cds don't let you do that.

If I remember from your screenshots from earlier, the shortcut link didn't have a space between the 'Chapter' and the '2'.
Remove that space and it should work.

That's because auto-select is used with the encryption.

Okay, you've not named your game names correctly as you've got the actual game exe names as 'z1' and 'z2' but the shortcut's are named 'Chapter 1 etc.' and 'Chapter 2 etc.' and your shortcuts don't actually link to anything.

The game exe files, level files, game names in the 'games.txt' file and the shortcuts must all have the same names.

Here's the fixed '.zip':
