Hi Guys,

Sorry you had to find out like this, it was meant to be a secret between the moderators and ourselves. Fortunately, none of it is true and you will be pleased to hear our plans for the future hold more wonderful things for the brand so you can all breath a sigh of relief. Congratulations to Nickydude (who is fired by the way), I almost believed it myself (and I am Lee).

Hope you had a great Aprils Fool Day!

P.S. Only joking, Nickydude is not fired

I drink tea, and in my spare time I write software.

It's all explained in my second post. Re-read it again carefully, taking special notice of the first letter of each line.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Lee.

I never believed this for a second! Here's my evidence:
The list of products in the email that are supposedly made by Lee & TGC are just the ones they sell right now. Some of them TGC did not make (RC and Leadworks, etc). Also, If it were a real email, Lee always concludes his emails with a smilie. LOL

As my Dad used to say, "You'll have to get up pretty early in the morning to fool me." I'm sure that meant something back then.

Best.

My feelings were the same. I have been taking a break from Fpsc, waiting to hear news on the migration, or at least finish the 1.15 beta, and was very sad\mad while reading down the posts...

Also, Ive been teased by the damn april fools things all day, and im just a little mad now...

OK, I didn't get to the second page. I do that way to much and then post when everything is already answered or over with.

The reactions this thread got are absolutely priceless.

It was a rather mean prank to play, for those who took it seriously.
I think I liked my april fools last year more. The april fools being that I wanted them to think it was an april fools, when it was in fact, real.

It's all in good fun, though. Nice touch with the second post, ND.

Plystire's April Fools was great. Nobody believed his Dual wielding, even when he released a video

This in itself wasn't nearly as funny as the reactions the people gave it

Seeing as everyone seems to be excited over how fantastic they think the migration version will be I thought it would be very apt.

I was like
"F that, they better relase the source"
Only Prank pulled on me and it worked, 100% fail rate, game over

*grabs shotgun*

I am not amused.

Reactions, everyone! Priceless, as I read Nickydude's first post it brought a tear to my eye. I can't believe it was an April Fool, but after Juzi pointed out the obvious, I realised the second post spelt the always hated April Fools...
I still remember The Games Factory, which came with what had to be one of the awesomest platformers ever, Zeb! Made by none other than Lee!

*Breaks out Champagne*

Cruel joke Nickydude...
But what a great reaction!
