Each person who enters must post one shot (800*600 or 1024*768). You may use photo effects, and it may help you win.

Previous WinnerJudge: Gunn3r

Theme: Warehouse
Challenge ends: April 29th, 11:59 PM (Atlantic Standard)

Example:

THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE A COPY OF SIGNS, A 2-3 SONG PACK AND X GAME'S WAREHOUSE, COURTESY OF XPLOSYS, GUNN3R AND X GAME'S!

I will donate a full copy of SignsIV. Hopefully it will get some new users involved. If the winner already owns SignsIV, perhaps he can pass it down to the next person in line who doesn't.

Best.

EDIT: Terry and I will donate a full copy of SignsIV. LOL

Ah... I wish I could enter now... I've wanted Signs ever since I started using FPSC. Oh well. I guess it doesn't matter much anyhow, seeing as I have plans to move on.

Good luck to all entrants, and you should really try to go for Signs. It's a great program!

How I'm going to judge these:

Use of Lighting (10 Points Possible):
How well you use the lighting that's available to you. Are you using the proper light sources? Do you have light sources?

Realistic (15 Points Possible):
Does your shot look like it could actually happen in real life? Or is it just thrown together?

Other (5 Points Possible):
This includes the quality/need of post-processing effects, mood, etc.

Total: 30 Points Possible

Well, looks like I have to put the tutorial on hold for a minute or so. I will enter this, although I already have a copy of Signs from the sign contest. Should I win, I'll be happy to donate the copy I'd win here to 2nd place.

I'd like to donate a prize in addition to what's currently up there. I will make a small soundtrack (2-3 songs) for the winner in their choice of genre (rock, scifi, cinematic, electronic... etc)

Can you please give a few ideas concerning your "Thrown Together" statement to these guys. It might prove to be useful to them.

Sure. If your screenshot has the visual appearance of being worked on for hours and it looks like each detail is meticulously placed, then you'll score better than if you fired up FPSC, took 3 minutes to make your shot and submitted it. Basically, invest some time in it and make it look as good as possible.

Object placement should be as realistic as possible. Instead of things randomly strewn around the shot, it should have some sort of realistic order. You shouldn't find pipes starting in the middle of the room. They should be against walls... etc.

It's actually helpful. He just wanted some clarification, that's all. No harm done. I realized that I wasn't very clear in my guidelines, so he just wanted some answers.
