Well, the Digital Paintball (a mod for Half Life) is looking for modellers for paintball markers (guns) so I decided I would have a go at it.

Heres what I came up with

Tell me what you guys think. I didnt even bother with polycount, just wanted eye candy.

Cool, wish I could work on a mod.

Great models. I would write more, but I'm being swarmed by hackers, so I cant really type much more.

I dont know, they just hate me I guess. I tried reconnecting, but I got swarmed by more then before I'm just glad my firewall blocks em all. Too bad it tells me whenever someone tries to hack in, its getting annoying!

I would like to see a bigger pic of that to see the skin better.
I am having some trouble uvwmapping my complex models to skin them i want to make templates of them and then skin in a paint program. How do you skin them ?

Spdyer Electra. Rebels are much smaller, dont have a regulator (or a presseure gauge) the cocking bolt shows, and the volumizer looks much different.

Badname, use milkshape to UV map them, goto Window > Texture Coordinate Editor to do it. Its not too hard, i learned a year ago from just fiddling around in it

Lithunwrap 1.3 is the last version of a commonly used FREE, uv mapper...It does all ms3d can do and more.

There is also UNWRAP3D which is the newest version but it costs around 20$ which,if it doesn't support UV baking(or illumination rendering) haven't checked it out yet, isn't worth it.

Check it out it supports many standards formats such as obj or dxf but also proprietary formats such as cob(truespace) or ms3d(milkshape).

If I've seen it all before, why's this bus taking me back again? @_@
