Yeah, it can only be done on a Mac, since it's an iPhone and such. I do wish they would work on Windows though...

I've just updated my site! Please visit!

They have a compiler and stuff on the apple website for free(but you can't sell what you make unless you pay) but like they said you need a mac. i didn't know that and downloaded it and it didn't work but ya wrong board. (not that mods come around here anymore. i don't think... lol but still.)

ANARCHY! ANARCHY!

This board is an example to the forums, I don't think I've ever seen anyone get slapped for something on here. (not that mods come around here anymore. i don't think... lol but still.)

Oh no! I've started a never ending cycle!

Please keep in mind a couple of things with the DBC board:
-TDK man has done a good job setting the tone here.
-Most users here have been here for a while and probably a bit older and mature than some of the other boards.
-This board does not have a constant flow of new people like some of the other boards.

If there isn't much that needs moderating here, then you probably won't see much action from mods. We do keep an eye on things though. I will try to keep a closer eye on things since that is what you all seem to want (at least until TDK man returns). If there are any problems here that need attention, feel free to send me an e-mail. I will look into it.

Ron

Lol. Thanks for checking in Ron! I completely agree with you about everything you said in your second post.

On-topic: I wish I could be more help WiseMan, but all I know is that you need a Mac, and probably an iPhone developers' kit.

ya, theres really not too much need for mods cuz as i said above, we do a good job of keeping an eye on posts in this board and taking care of those who post "unwanted" info, for lack of a better term

Tell me about it, I'm still a noob on here!
It's kind of nice though because when new people do come they get lots of help.

Also the more militant MODS don't come on here and they can sometimes make things worse.

Well it's a matter of what you are trying to do, pc's have there strong suits and macs have theres. for instance if you wanted to make/play games you wouldn't buy a mac(not to mention they are extremely overpriced) and if you wanted to profesionally make/edit video/sound/ext ext.... then you would probably swing for a mac. course pc's "Can" do that but, macs are kinda taylored for it. and vise versa

wow I didnt know that

also as a side note if it were me I would've had some fun with that ending (vise versa) and made it like vista versa, hahaha

I wouldn't want to shame the post like that lol. i saw a computer at a store one time that said "Operating system not found" i sent a picture to my freind with a caption like this "Hey, it's better then Vista" hahahaha. made me laugh for a while cuz i think it did have vista before it did that. ah! it's fixing itself!

Don't get me wrong. i love pc's. definitely not a mac guy just i think everyone is tired of vista and is waiting for Windows 7 i know i am.

true, my dad has been a FREAK about PC's forever, if you say the word mac in a sentence round here then ur outburst if removed form the conversation

but I think we might be getting a mac for the exact purpose of I-phone/touch programming

I second that. I beta tested it and now I am going back for seconds with the release candidate. EASILY 100x better than vista (not to mention it is already stable)

Macs are overpriced, but in my experience last much longer than PCs.

They also turn on faster, are more computer noob friendly, and can handle some intense programs. But if you like to game, don't do macs. I better not have just started Mac vs Pc.

I like my PCs.... until they die.

Ha. i never understood why people got in big discussions about mac vs pc. It's all what you want/need in a pc(a personal computer not the type of computer call a "Pc" lol). this is not a big deal. lol

AND! They are almost the exact the same inside(as that1smartguys link stated lol) it's just the operating system that has the most diversity.
