Good to see you've come crawling back.

It might seem like these guys are trying to burst your bubble, but the fact is even if you could make a game that good on your own it would take years and would be so stressfull it would hardly be worth it. People seem to miss out the point that making smaller programs is also a lot more fun; you can play with ideas and learn new things without having to go through the boring bits.
The thing I love most about coding is when you've struggled with a problem for days and you finally work out how to solve it - I always punch the air at that point

- I can't think of anything that gives me a greater sense of pride than that. I'm sure others will agree.
A good tip is to limit yourself. You could write a game in 20 lines or make a game using only 8x8 sprites etc. Then squeezing the most out of those limits is fun.
