This looks really cool. REALLY good textures. Except! One thing... The light in the latest pic looks offset or something. Like parts of the wall are falling apart... so surely it would be falling apart all around the light. Like in a circle. You could just move it over to the right a tad and it would look much better.

I need to disappoint some of you, the last shot shows the fixed Texture Bug on the Gloves. The Background is a Skybox.

Thanks anyway

Thanks for the Input, I use too light sources for this one now, looks much better and slightly more realistic

Now working on

- Custom Scripted Stealth Gadget (will be surprise)
- New InGame Interface (Press enter to use etc.)

latest changes

The Pool stays in Game and you can still empty it by turning the wrench in the Maintenance Cellar.

Very impressive and dark storyline, Wolf. The screenshots certainly do it justice.

Very nice to see another artist on the boards, looking forward to seeing more

Great looking game Wolf. Hey, I know Sci Fi isn't your thing, but could you check out this (http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=151512&b=25) thread. It's my first project using custom media.

Can you save the crew of LV21?

Thanks Guys!

@Gears of War: Yeah, sure! I`ll check it!

@AaronG: Well, I guess I have to disappoint you. The EFX only adds the bloom effect to these screens. Everything else is 100% my work. Efx or not, your mapdesign stays the same.

@ Wolf

Oh, I know, haha. But still, EFX adds bloom, motion blur, and numerous other graphical tweaks such as anti-aliasing which alone makes textures look sharper.

I'm still puzzled as to how your directional lights look so well done.

Screens looking superb! Really nice level design.

Was allways tired of those standard blocky rooms in FPSC.
This seems to add a whole new dimension to FPSC which is always great!
Really commercial level lay out and atmosphere. So keep up the good work.

The screen[after you went out for jogging] is very good. Very nice mate. Well done. Jogging gave you inpiration. Maybe you saw this happen while you were jogging.

Well. It is a pitty you showed this screen, now they know what my concept is. j/k

Hey!

@Paul112: Well, I actually haven`t really done any real progress. I`ve been lazy. I`m stuck with the characters, some scripting etc. The only thing I really did is a Bathtub filled with water. I will do some more today and upload a screenshot or two ASAP. I`ve also done something really stupid in my life. Thats why I`m actually hanging around here after getting home wtihtout doing anything constructive... and then theres this School/Job Story Well... I do not want to bore you with this. Expect some progress this week and thanks for the interest

@Sonny: Thanks mate Nice to see you around here too.

@Cheese Cake: Thanks Dude *offtopic*: What happened to your character Artwork? You can`t buy these on the store?

@Zay33: See attached file. You can mix lightcolors. It just needs a little practice, so you get good results.

@Red Eye: Jupp just a skybox. It illustrates the fixed handtexture

@Buraktr: Yes, I`m still working on the retextures. Bond1`s Modelpack 4 Characters are in use for this, and these are actually really lowpoly. So I need to put in much in the Textures. I also do not get them shaded without havin ugly visible Polys.

If anybody has a cool MP4 suitable Shader, please write me a note here or somewhere.

@Apocalyptic Games: Crytek is out of germany No seriously, I`m actually from Luxemburg. Thanks for the flowers, though.

@Doomster: Kaaaarl!

Well, expect more later

Ah! You have EAI's SCAR! I thought you said the MP5 was going to be the heaviest firearm in the game. Oh well, the gun is beautiful.

Oh no ! The Shot illustrates the mixed Lightcolors and I tested my new settings on the gun.

The SCAR wouldn`t fit at all. Where would the Enemies get these from according to the story.

Sweet. I'm trying to that type of lighting (fades from one to another) in x10, but its proving harder then I thought.

@Coach Shogun: I would recommend you to use X9.

@ ALL:

Well, I decided to leave the german Board. People there started to annoy me and the ammount of serious Nonsense was too high. So all Info goes to this Board.

The Mainrelease of this Game will still be in german.

Done

Well, the last few days I added the following stuff:

- Cancelled the waterfilled Bathtub. The refractionshader has drowned my FPS Rate from 61 to 22

- Added new realistic muzzleflash for Weapons and for enemys. (I couldn`t stand these cartoonish standart ones.)

- I found a useable shader for the MP4 Chars. But I do not know yet if I use it. See Snippet:

(These Surgeon Styled Characters won`t be used often. It adds an "Hostel" like touch to the game, thats why I added these.

- I started working on the dominant underground Levels. Theres not much to show... only to tell you guys that the game is still under serious development.

Thats what I did, theres still a lot to work on till the Ultimate Contest release.

The Main Torture and Rapeing Area is situated in a part of the underground Sever complex. This is a raw concept how I do want to design these places containing only mood and basic architecture:

Some Feedback on this would be helpfull. So are additional Ideas.

To do

Finishing third Level
Finishing Guard Character Retextures and Client retextures

But I can`t post all this without a little eyecandy:

Love the lighting, although it just might be a little too yellow in my opinion...try going for a dark blue "cold" underground feel with some off white lights?

What do I know? Haha.

In all seriousness, looks fantastic. Can't wait for a demo.

@Zay333: The Lightmaps are calculated in the final build, so they won't affect the loadingtime, as they don't have to be constructed.

The screens are looking good, altough the wall of the corridors are a bit... repetitive and undetailed... maybe add some variations of the texture?

All in all, great work as always.

@AaronG: Check the Screenshots in the Snippets, thats the way I light the sewer parts. If you take a close look at the screens, you might notice that every single light in the game is somewhat Yellow. Its the style of this game.

@Coach Shogun: Its your choice... I only know that the performance in X10 is bad, thats why I wrote that. I think I get the lights a bit more grey, now as you say it.

@djmaster: My "Personal Assistant" GOHDoomster convinced me to rejoin the german board. But I won`t be so active there anymore.

@Zay33: Loadingtime is fine. About a Minute or less.

About the Demo

There won`t be a Demo. This game only contains a total of 5 Levels. So a Demo would be useless.

I`ll release a full version for the Ultimate Contest.

Okay. Just wanted to make sure you got the email. We're redoing the design today, and are going to try and get the beta testers to start posting topics, if they can.
Either way, I can't wait to see more of this game. It's shaping up to be one of the few FPSC games that I actually download.

@John schwarcz: The game hasn`t any Asylum like things in it. And I do use bloom.

@sYn: A small amount of bloom adds realism. I`m pretty happy with my settings and I keep em that way.

I agree! Keep it that way! It's just perfect!

And I noticed that one of the graffitis had text P.O.K in it... At the first page. Puppy Of Kosh?

But I guess I`ll have to dissappoint you, it is just a random graffity texture from CGTextures.
