Hello guys, I've made a couple improvements to the game, and I figured it's about time a demo was available.

Space Potassium is an arcade space game, in which players turn into bananas upon being shot. That's really all there is to say about it xD. It was my first really big project that has come so close to completion, and it's getting to the point where I just want to get it done so I can do other things lol.

You can find a link for the download at my site:

You can also download it from this attachment if my server gets overloaded.

Enjoy!

Pure Awesomeness....

I had been wondering where the Space Pottasium thread had gone.

Im downloading the demo now and ill edit this post with C&C

EDIT: Pretty awesomee. I loved how you had improved the backdrop, shaders and the sluggish movement. Its now much easier to move in the game. One thing though, make the camera further out because I pretty much relied on the minimap for pointing my ship at a target.

Oh, I totally forgot to include the controls!

Arrowkeys - Move
Left and right carrots ( <, > ) - Zoom in and out
Space - Shoot

Thanks for the comments Serial Hopefully the zooming that I forgot to mention will fix the problem about seeing targets, I think I'll set the default camera range to be further out.

I'm gonna try to add winning and losing into the next release, haven't been able to get up the motivation recently. ><

YES! Haha, looks great. Let me just find a can around here with the correct OS and I'll play your game in no time!

This thread deserves more comments...

Just saying.

Played it. Models and sounds are very good, though the splat gets a bit repetitive. Gameplay is ok, but it suffers because the camera is in way too close.

>_>
<_<

...much better. Might want to cap the distance though.
I noticed having some problems turning left: holding up to go forward, I couldn't turn left at the same time, but I could turn right. edit: Actually, it's when you're holding space to fire.

Hmm..that may be a limitation of dbKeyState, will have to figure out a work-around for that. I'm more focused on Project Eres atm, but I'll see if I can update it.
