some of these will be for download some will be for experience. not sure how many will get textured. but i have one current (i lost some models...like the ones i did for bmac) but oh well here is a pic of the one im doing right now.

i didn't use any reference picks with it i just kinda winged it. (the legs were a pain and im not sure i got them right yet. the hands are not very good either rather blocky... not sure if im gonna get to fixing it (since if i do use it i would be using the higher poly version(top pics) rather the low poly one(bottom pics)

C&C welcome.

Azunaki - Please don't bump your threads simply because nobody has replied.

The model is a good start. I think the waistline needs a little work, the hips and legs probably need to be a tad bigger.

Good to see another Cinema 4D user around!

Nice model Azunaki. If it isn't to bold to make a suggestion; you could ( not should ) make the chest part of the model with indentions for abs- pecs- sternum deal to make it more intimadating.

i would do that but its ment to be armor. (kinda cyborg robotic sorta thing)
basically it has a human (fleshy) head hands and then there will be areas of the legs that have wires and tubs sticking or pressing the flesh out and also areas were it will be plated. (its a work in progress...) im surprised no one said anything about the low poly hands...

If you want them, I've still got them all. Looks like you're improving quite a lot, though! You probably don't need them.

the sword and armor looks good but when you get a texture, post an image with the texture on it.

Ok, but yeah it looks pretty good, especially for not using a reference, though you should always use a reference picture.

lol yea. i know but i was just kinda winging it. its was practice i wanted to see how good of a model i could make without a reference.. the bicep is a killer though... i added a head.

also this is my third try at making a human style model.

the head is pretty narrow and a bit on the small side proportionately. I would scale it up some and pull out the cheeks at least

It might just be the angle, but these polygons look slightly out of place? Otherwise looks good to me

i scaled it a bit but it looked weird... it looks better this way. at least i think it does.

the chest is so large because of the way im thinking of texturing it. (i know its not proportional)

ok so a new venture of mine is doing more swords. (i plan to do 6 image attached) i didn't draw them. im not planning on textureing all of them. only one or two(or try at least) probably the viking sword and dwarven battle sword. if any one is interested in textureing them please say so(and post the finished works here)

ok so i have the first one is done. 4 more to do i won't have much time till the weekend to work on these.

unless some one is willing to texture these i won't put the up for download till they are all done(i will probably make a texture just to kinda show it but don't expect a work of art)

ok so i will make a kind of middle poly version if you guys want it.

(the blade and handle are separated for UV mapping)

okay if you want it to look realistic you want to make the handle skinnier, the blade a tad longer and is the blade just a flat plane?

i'll add a perspective view.(no its not) this one is a roman sword. its actually about the right size. the handle is supposed to be a third of the length of the blade.

(this pic includes the wire. and yes i know the high poly has a LOT of useless polys... it is a lot smoother though.
