Hi There!

I will use this thread to show screen shots of My New Game!

June 29, 2009:This shows what it looked like before I decided to stick with two dimensions.


July 10, 2009:The transition to a two dimensional world is complete! Enemies coming soon.


July 11, 2009:Here I am sneaking up on the enemy. I am about to get a head shot, when I remembered that I don't have a weapon yet!


July 19, 2009:This shows the recently added weapons! In the image you will see me using a 'desert eagle' and the enemy using an 'ak47'. I don't believe either of these weapons will be in the finished product, but I use them for now because that is what test graphics I have available to me.


***More To Come***

By the way, I didn't create the graphics. They are placeholder.

This could be good. Looks reminiscent of Alien Breed, or something.

However, since you're not using 3d any more, and the graphics are a placeholder anyway, what exactly are you showing that's going to make it into the game? That it's a top-down game featuring a dude with dark hair and some boxes?

You are correct.

Let's face it. I might've made this thread a little earlier than I should have. I'll have new stuff by the end of the weekend. Just sit tight for now, okay?

When I said the graphics were from placeholder, I meant simply. I did not create them myself. They are from another game.

Even if you are not that far in development, I am sure you have a certain idea of how the game will look when it's finished... so, will it simply be some sort of top down shooter where you try to survive by shooting AI-controlled guys?
All I can say for now is that I like the style but well... since the style seems to be just a placeholder as well, that probably doesn't mean anything.

I think it will be a top down shooter, but I doubt I will base it around 'survival'. I think it will be a 'capture the flag' game
