Not bad for a first. Needs some smoothing out, and a little bit of cleaning up.(check the front for smoothing, and on the top picture, the back of the passenger place(under the blades), needs a little work.

Still, not bad for 817 polygons.

A book? I hate book. Book is stupid.

Hi, need to use more thin mesh, ant think to use texture to make details, not polygons.wel...like that it seems a medieval's weapon!! an ancient helicopter.... better your's than mine instead, i've managed to build a mech with very poor results.

N:B: Your apache hasn't port and starboard engines!!!!

It is a real good start, better then a lot of people's first. Just get ride of the big wheels and shrink the weapons on the wings, texture it and it will be nice for your fist helicopter game.

ok, but when you say get rid of the wheels, do u mean shirnk em or delete them? Because it has to have wheels to land on, all the pics u sed said they had em.

it depends of what model of the apache but i assume thats the longbow, the wheels are huge, and need shrinking

did you use a refrence pic? if not then just goto google image search type in apache, find a good pic from the side, then right click it and save it somewhere on your pc, in milkshape, rightclick on the top left viewport and select choosebackground image then find the one you just saved.

the propellors need to be longer + thinner and the tail rotor needs to be lower

the rear wheel doesnt have 2 support shafts it has 1 and its kinda thin

apache`s dont have 4 hellfire missile pods only 2, or it can have 4 stinger pods, it can also have 2 stingers 1 on each wingtip

it needs a nose mounted chaingun, it has 2 seats, pilot at back and weapons officer at front

needs two T700 engines, one on each side

it needs 2 horizontal stabilisers,

and thats about it

goto my website for tutorials, demo`s downloads and more

congrats, you've turned one of the military's most productive killing machines into A ROAD CONSTRUCTION VEHICLE DESIGNED FOR FLATTENING PAVEMENT!
Anywho, I see some clipping on one of those sides, possibly forgot to remove a polygon somewhere?
other than that, its pretty good for a new modeller
You might want to try some tools like bevel and extrude. On a side note, GMAX and other demo's for things like TrueSpace 3.2 and Lightwave might be a good option for ya. Try out some other modelling programs while you're still testing the waters of modelling, its good to have some diversity
