Yeah, thought I'd add it so Apple Juice mod wasn't last on list, otherwise Apple Slicer would probably kick off.

Well you forget S4Mod, technically it is still a mod

EDIT: Ya what Red eye said, if you want the fastest frames, go with Project Blue, be prepared to spend some money though!
If you want fast frames and no fee, go Apple Juice

Different people will say that different mods are faster.
Even though Apple Juice Mod is slower than Horror Mod people will still insist it's faster when it's not.

Remember dont only go for speeds remember features too.

If you want horror than horror mod is the best mod ever seen made for fpsc.

If you want a general mod with various features like water, blowing off characters limbs etc go with apple juice.

PB um is king of mods when it comes to feature list tho due to all the intergrations.

Every mod comes with instructional guides and premade scripts. Its not about difficulty but what feature list you want all the mods above are fast some faster than others but not too big a difference in overall gameplay. Pick the mod you can see using and the feature list that suits you

Try horror mod theres a free testing version you can try out and see if you like it so far.

Apple has one too but thats free so you can try it anytime or wait for updates.

PB UM is teh only one you cant try sorry.

Horror Mod gives you 2 help files and prewritten scripts for every feature, so you don't actually have to script a thing to make it work in your game.
Horror Mod has also got video tutorials of how to use the features in your game and what each feature does.

Horror Mod also gives you 66 FPS maximum and some people who have bought the mod are getting the following:
66 FPS with 7 characters, always active, all in view.
45 FPS with 14 characters, always active, all in view.

And it's officially recommended by COZ.

Honestly, I find Horror Mod the fastest mod. I put 24 characters in one room and still had 42 FPS. I have not had this with ANY other mod.

Rakker, if you want my opinion, get Apple Juice Mod.

It runs fast and stable, it's free, it has awesome features and it's getting WizMod implemented into it.

The ultimate judgement

I've tested a very big level in all 3 mods (had blu um beta still on pc)

Fastest: Horror Mod stable 63 fps
Apple juice 62 fps
Blue UM: 44 fps

So i guess the horror is the fastest, i'll go for it

Cool, I've also added edited the code to give more performance and that'll be in the next release later today.
So you should start seeing a solid 66 FPS

Quote: "You should see the new BETA for Apple Juice Mod then"

BETA is the key word there, it's still got bugs, and it's still in development.
Horror Mod has a stable release version with no known bugs, all the bugs have been fixed.

Actually version 1 isnt a beta its the first full release that'll have its bugs patched up fast for when 1.1 stable comes.

Anyways Mods lock this thread the answer has been solved

Fanboy War here, huh?

It's not of help if somebody says "this and that modification is the fastest", if you haven't used all of them in the same map and compared the speed, it's unobjective.

It's really the best to always test each on their own.

The same goes with consoles, the PS3 Users say: "PS3 is the best, has the best games, best performance, best graphics", the 360 Users say the same etc...

The best is, and will remain, to read each feature list and to try each mod out carefully.

Quote: "Anything to get a sale huh KNX"

...

However, I'm finished with my post.

Guys no wonder WizMod died you cant last 5 minutes without arguing if anyone wants a decent mod then i recommend one above all others Project Blue UM as it has excellent support great developers that are willing to put loads of time into it we have seen 3 great mods from the developers behind it now.

Both Apple Juice mod and Horror mod are still very new and have a high chance of failing still.

In terms of speed the Horror mod is much faster than most but then again it isnt the most graphically enhanced mod out of them all which will help it greatly also. Please guys cut out the arguments no one likes to use something where the developers have to argue with everyone else to try and show they are superior and in the end whats the point behind it

That definitely isn't the only thing Horror Mod has going for it. It has tonnes of great features and new scripting commands. Not to mention it has Knxrb Mod in it. But yes, Apple Juice Mod is great if you need a free mod with a stable frame rate and not quite as many features (yet).

Everyone stop making subtle arguments about whats better and whats not. I think rakker has enough lists and opinions from us to satisfy him. If he dosn't then the best way to find out is find which one he's more comfortable with. So lets please leave the mod wars off of the forums for the sake of everyone here.
