I remember a long ways back someone posted up a tutoriel on how to do this stype of shading that made the game look like a telivision cartoon. Does anyone know where i can find this?

I can't remember where it is, but I read it and I'm using it in my game. The idea is to duplicate your object and then invert it, you could do that in a model editor or do scale object 1,-110,-110,-110. I thank whoever thought it up because it makes my game look class.

What you can do is open all the texture files for your modle and colour in similar coloured areas in in block colour. Then set the ambient light to 100 and hey presto, sort of cel-shading.

There's no place like 127.0.0.1

I'm using it in my game as well, but in mine the player has a glowing outline instead of a black one.

You will need to invert the faces in DB or in the modeling program, but scaling to +/- 110 percent (or something over 100) won't always do it. I actually needed to inflate the model along the normal of each face. The more non-spherical your model is, the more the need to do so will become apparent.
