Halloween Competition 2009




Theme: Horror
Starting Date: 4.10.2009
Ending Date: 4.11.2009 (NEW DEADLINE!!!)

THE CONTEST HAS ENDED!


Rules:

-No teams allowed
-FPSCreator X10 not allowed
-Mods are allowed
-3 levels max.
-Custom media is allowed
-You can use other's media as long as you are allowed to do that
-Any time frame is allowed,from ww2 halloween to modernday halloween

Prizes:

1st place

-Project Blue UM donated by s4real
-Horror Mod donated by knxrb
(the winner picks one of these mods,the other mod goes to 2nd place)

-Double barrel shotgun with MP6 hands and professional animations
-Jack-o-lantern weapon
-Cool sig for 1st place
-3 entities custom by djmaster (unanimated,no characters,no weapons)
-1 custom entity by Coach Shogun 20 (no weapons or characters)
-2 building models by Afrokid

2nd place

-Jack-o-lantern weapon
-Cool sig for 2nd place
-2 entities custom by djmaster (unanimated,no characters,no weapons)
-1 building model by Afrokid

3rd place

-Jack-o-lantern weapon
-Cool sig for 3rd place
-1 entity custom by djmaster (unanimated,no characters,no weapons)
-1 building model by Afrokid

All valid entries

-Cool signature for entering
-Jack-o-lantern weapon

DONATING MORE PRIZES IS WELCOME!

Judging Criteria:

Gameplay - 15 points (must be fun to play,replay value,fun features)
Level Design - 10 points (the levels must be enjoyable,good framerate counts)
Lighting - 10 points (must be looking creepy,not too dark,ambience must be creepy)
Mod usage - 5 points (using exciting mod features gives you points,overusing bloom is a no)
Custom Media - 10 points (having something new and custom gives more points,more the better)

@djmaster: Great idea, unfortunately I won't be taking part in this, but you can put 1 custom entity by Coach Shogun 20 (no weapons or characters) down for first place. Anyways, you don't specifically say what the contest is: Is it a horror contest, what time periods are allowed, etc. Even if it's anything goes, you should still mention that somewhere. other than that, you have a pretty solid contest organization going on here. Good luck to all!
