FPS Creator X10 / fps creator x10 upgrade error

hi

I just got x10 I think its great loving the ai

but I have a problem when I install my mature pack with the upgraded version 1.09 it installs fine but when i go to test a game i get the following error :

The program can't start because d3dx10_40.dll is missing from your computer.try reinstalling the program to fix this problem

i downloaded the missing dll file and than I got this error

and than fpsc x10 crashes
the first version version works ok, I can test games and that but not in the upgraded version.
got any ideas

You need to install the latest version of direct x 10, which is direct x 10.1. That's all that's wrong, nothing big.

i can only find it for vista

please help

Erm, Vista Setups work just fine for Windows 7.

theres no way you can get dx 10.1 for win7 , it was desinged for vista sp1 only and there is no download for it.

It will install 10.1 for you..

hmmm , I havnt installed that cause my vista came with it , vista ultimate SP1
