okay...
i'll be honest, i searched for what i could, but the concept is so obscure, i don't know if it's out there.

i want to make it clear that i'm asking about a THEORY, not requesting implementation of said theory. though, of course, that would be nice.

would it be possible to either make a path through a maze that could be temporarily shown through a key press, such as what can be seen in dead space. alternatively, is it possible to have a form of immobile marker that can be seen through the walls, similar to how one can see your teammates in left4dead.

any comments or thoughts on the matter are welcome

the navigational line that leads you to the end would probably be easiest, merely using a key to reveal an 'alternate texture' for an otherwise invisible line.
