I downloaded Fred P's lightsaber from fpsfree.com. It installed to files/gamecore/guns/user/lightsaber by FredP/ and I don't know what to do with the files. Help. Thanks!

you need a basic idea of what you need to do with the files, its very lengthy

it likely dosent have a pickup model so find it in the player start entity

right, a weapon consists of 3 objects

A Pickup Entity
An Ammo Pickup Entity
The gun model from the players viewpoint

from what i know, the lightsaber weapon only comes with the model from the players viewpoint (and dosent use ammo) so you need to assign it to the player start

look the file gunspec.txt (or similar). COPY THE FOLDER THAT IS IN (everything in the folder) to files/gamecore/guns/

eg: FPS Creator X10/files/gamecore/guns/lightsaber/gunspec.txt

It worked! Okay, now that I see it, it's kinda bad. But for future reference, how would I put it so that it shows up in Entities?
