Just asking a few general questions before I buy this off ebay

I have FPS 9 currently and I have alot of issues when I update each time. Its like whole new list of problems generate. Now I also have all model packs except I think 30. Anyway I seen you should be able to import those in easly which great.

So I guess the big question is on x10. Has anyone ever had any issues hosting or joining games they make for Multi Player? Currently I have issues on fps 9 if I patch higher then v1.08.

So I just need to know as well it the upgrade worth it and does it perform an funtion better then the old x9 version? Please be honest. Ive spent alot on x9 allready. An Im hoping x10 corrects alot of issues x9 has currently.

X10 has it own list of issues... just a lot different ones...

As far as model packs go you'll need to update X10 to version 1.09 and download the lasted model pack installers from you order history as the model packs have had changes made to them so they work with newer versions of X9 and X10.

Buy it from TGC, not eBay. If you do you will get the mature patch. The mature patch has blood and ragdoll. I am just trying to prevent the inevitable thread, asking for it if you buy from eBay.

Multiplayer on x10 works the same as on x9. There are no dedicated servers, if that is what you are asking.

No question would be can the creator host and player join hsi host and visa versa. I was having issues with some maps on fps 9. Im hoping x10 fixes that issue.

Mate I strongly advise agains X10. It runs at a snails pace (even though i have well above minimum requirements), none of the EAI weapons work in it for me and there are no mods. I would wait until the X9 migration has finished.

press TAB during a test game and turn the bloom strength down. If your system specs are barely above the minimum, it may run slowly for you.

also have you installed directx10.1 sdk. its required to work with the v109 updates which lee mentioned. without the 10.1 the game sucks for frame rates i can get 200fps when both updates and 10.1 are installed.

Also, make sure you have the most recent updates. Most people who upgrade from X9 to X10 complain that it's slow, but it's usually the computer's bare minimum requirements, not FPSC. In short, if your computer can handle modern games at playable framerates then you shouldn't have a problem with X10

I love it how FPSC X10 worked DECENT on an Nvidia 8400 to me, and yet others complain while they have 'top-notch' PCs... It used to run around ~50FPS with only the water on on an 8400, so guess who the problem lies with?
