Hi

I want to make a triangular window using MakeTriangle and then setting GhostOn, but I cannot get it to work. Is it possible?

I can make a rectangular window only with a box and setting ghost on, why not a triangle or a plane?

Hello,

It's totally possible. I'm not 100% sure what exactly you are after but here's a quick example of a ghosted triangle as a window - in this case I surround it with two other triangles just to emphasize it's translucency/transparency:

Thanks for that Latch, I did not realise that set object emissive would do that!

Thanks!!

@Caleb
Yes. DBC 1.20 and up

@Old man
The set object emissive isn't really necessary for the ghosting effect to work, but with DBC version 1.20, if an object is dark ghosted (ghost object on number,1) and if the object isn't bright enough (set object emissive controls the object's innate color luminance - it's "glow color"), then then ghosting doesn't end up being transparent enough. So try it with emissive and without and with varying colors and see what works best for your goals.

Enjoy your day.

@Caleb you can download v1.2 for free. I think it's in the stickies.
I have v1.13 and v1.2 on my PC just in case things are incompatible between the two.
