Hello,
It's totally possible. I'm not 100% sure what exactly you are after but here's a quick example of a ghosted triangle as a window - in this case I surround it with two other triangles just to emphasize it's translucency/transparency:
set display mode 800,600,32
sync on
sync rate 60
autocam off
hide mouse
rem create a gradated texture for triangle window ghosting
cls rgb(64,64,64)
for r=0 to 127
c=127-(r/2)
ink rgb(c,c,c),0
circle 128,128,r
circle 128,129,r
next r
get image 1,0,0,256,256
sync
rem 3 triangles to form a window with 1 triangle
make object triangle 1,-100,0,0,0,100,0,100,0,0
make object triangle 2,-100,0,0,-100,100,0,0,100,0
make object triangle 3,0,100,0,100,0,0,100,100,0
texture object 1,1
ghost object on 1
set object emissive 1,rgb(255,255,255)
rem because triangles have only 1 side, turn off culling to see both
for obj=1 to 3
set object obj,1,1,0
next obj
rem make a matrix for reference
make matrix 1,1000,1000,25,25
rem position triangle window in the middle
position object 1,500,0,500
position object 2,500,0,500
position object 3,500,0,500
position camera 500,50,300
rem rotate triangle window
do
for obj=1 to 3
turn object left obj,.3
next obj
sync
loop
Enjoy your day.
