Ok, here we go.
Quote: "@Nickydude, are teams allowed for this compitition? Because if they are, you can add in me and Plystire."
No, only individual entries, this then makes it fair for everyone.
Quote: "
Is the sing FPSC only or can DBpro be used? ^o) obviously it would be harder, but i dont own FPSC."
In FPSC only, sorry.
Quote: "One question, my game is fallout and post apocalyptic based, but it's in a city setting. Is that still ok?"
That's fine.
Quote: "where should I upload the game when completed?"
There are a few free places where you can upload, I can't remember off hand but I'm sure someone will mention them.
Quote: "Now, to clarify for others - can X10 be used? I don't plan on using it, and I assume that by "any version of FPSC" you can use it, but the judges must then have an X10 capable computer which is why I ask."
Good point, most of the judges are working with XP so I would say avoid FPSC X10 as you won't get a full judging. I'll amend the rules for that.
Quote: "Does it specifically has to be a post-NUCLEAR WAR setting? Or are other post-apocalyptic scenarios also allowed? Like earth after a giant meteor impact p.e? "
Some sort of apocalyptic disaster should have happened so yes a meteor impact will be ok.
Quote: "Does it have to be the *exact* near future or are alternate timeline scenarios also possible? In fact Fallout is set in an alternate future that is mostly a 50ies setting. A post-war/disaster scenario in a Bioshock setting (=20ies) with bond1's new pack could also yield interesting results."
It can be any timeline but must be apocalyptic. I would say that bond's theater pack, while outstanding of course, is not really apocalyptic.
AMENDMENT TO RULES
|- ANY version of FPS Creator can be used that can run on XP, Vista & Windows 7, including modded. This does, unfortunately exclude X10 as the games won't run on XP.
