I finally had time to build a level that incorporates everything and I must say again its outstanding.

The pillars work perfectly (interesting idea to make them segments, all other pillars I know of are entities), the portcullis is perfect to be combined with a lever (the stock one is fine), the small wooden bridge fits the theme well and the walkways work well too (if using B and a keen eye).

The only thing that doesnt fit into the pack is the bridge - because it has such an extremely well-done texture!

You see, a lot of people make decent models but when it comes to texturing they simply put a seamless texture all over it. But that bridge...I opened the texture in my PSP and I can only call it *sophisticated*, taking in account the angles, the curved parts and whats seen from the top.

With the texture quality from the bridge, that whole pack would be good enough to become MP 37.

Thanks for the comments people, just glad you can make use of it

@The Storyteller 01: I never knew pillars were meant to be entities lol
I'm still really new to FPSc and it just seemed logical to make them segments so they lined up nice with the arched ceilings?
Not really sure how using B and a keen eye will help with the platforms as they are also segments lol "R" maybe ??

Dunno if I would go so far as to call my lame UV Mapping *sophisticated* but yes that bridge does not go with the rest of the sewer stuff. If you look closer at that texture, you will see it also contains all the textures for the walkways and that little wood bridge.

Anyway that stone bridge and the walkways are a pre-cursor to some more stuff, more along the lines of dungeon/crypt type theme in due course.

Quote: "With the texture quality from the bridge, that whole pack would be good enough to become MP 37."

He he he, that made me laugh
Nah my stuff is not good enough to sell, which is why I give it away, but thanks for the thought.

I only use this for fun and have no interest in making commercial games ^_^

the pipe cutter isnt working for me and most of the entities dont have a texture (the chute and the room that goes around the round stairs etc) apart from that they are realy good

and an idea, how about a bend pipe roof, i need one for the game im making , you have straight and T and X..all we need is the corner one.

thanks for these models they are amazing quality

@the fps gamer: Don't use that single sewer pipe segment (i.e. the all in one Sewer Pipe (straight) one), It should not actually still be in the pack. Use the two halves version and enclose in a segment, as per the 1st post.
Quote: "The two tunnel/sewer pipe sections must be fitted inside a room segment (like the one supplied) or you will get gfx glitches (you will know if you try)"

@Afrokid: Did you re-download the main archive from the 1st post after I updated it?? as I changed some textures and meshes etc (including a missing null mesh for the pipe cutter).

As to a Bend for the arched ceiling (pipe roof) I just use a T-Junction and slap a wall at one end.

I only use this for fun and have no interest in making commercial games ^_^

I use the dead-end arched ceiling, works as well and looks slightly more *natural*

Apply like a floor segment (i.e so go up a level and place, as the stairs sit below) then use a trigger or switch etc to operate them. The wall sections and floor will slide back to reveal the stairs.

Ah right, I think I've got it now, and to show my gratitude for all your hard work here's a sewer background track I've put together (4:30 mins - 8mb).

Tried them out today - the new *secret* features are extremely usefull(as well as the *magic* wall)!
@nbt: are you aware, that you made something for the community that we hadn't since FPSC came out?

The additional grates, bars (especially the broken one) and the broken column pieces do a lot for atmosphere - and the new one-piece bridge is another texture masterpiece.

There is a mesh error on one of the new pieces (game crashed on saving so I am not sure which one) but I'll sort that one out myself.

Thanks a lot again!

@Nickydude: Cheers for the sound track ^_^

@The Storyteller 01: To be honest I'm amazed there is only one error with my modelling skills I'm still very confused as regards to FPSc and how to make stuff for it, but I'm learning as I go and using you as guinea pigs :p
If you do find the mesh error, let me know, so I can fix it.

@Everyone else: Glad your getting some use out of it and thanks for the comments.

Yeah a few are exactly one grid square in size (trapdoor, magic wall, secret floor etc) so are only entities.

The pack is a bit of a mess, as I mostly made the bits n bobs at work in my spare time

I'm still learning to model and how things work in FPSc, so I expect quite a bit of what I have made to be wrong ^_^

Thanks for these Nbt!!

There seems to be an issue with the pillars, the only pillar in my meshbank I have is Arch_Ceiling_XR_Pillar.x

But in the .fps files your segments call for
Arch_Ceiling_XR_Pillar_BB.x
and
Arch_Ceiling_XR_Pillar_BT.x

So attempting to place the pillars results in a program crash for illegal mesh. Do we just rename the existing pillar or are the .x files different and missing?

@ The Godfather
Sure mate, do as you like with anything I release. I'm only concerned that people find a use for the stuff and if you can further improve on them, then be my guest

@ Cyclone
That's what I like to hear ^_^

I really wanted to release my next pack, but it a long way from complete as yet, as I wanted to release it as a whole this time instead of dribs and drabs like this one.

Yet as I seem to be a little sidetracked as of now, I may do the same again and release what I have completed and add to it as and when I get back to it?

None of the entities work. They're just white in the editor and invisible in test game...

Hmm, just ignore the thing I said about the entities not working. I just had to reinstall FPSC and it worked...
(and of course also change the texture paths, but that didn't work first, but after reinstalling FPSC it did. Sorry if I confused anyone...)
