what do you mean ? If you mean like make new storys for buildings though then use = and - in the editor to change tru the layers

it is a map thats black in white white is the tallest and balck is the shortest and different greys are in betwenn to make beter hills valleys and mountains and so on

No, this would require a mod to the source code, because for heightmaps, you need to create a set of memblocks and assign them to each shade of white, raising the hue to a specified height. X10 source cannot be modified.
