FPS Creator X10 / Resolution error

whenever I open up fps creator x10 (v.1.16.018) the map editor opens up as a seprate program and is in the corner of the other one and it says "resolution change detected, do you want to reset?" and then exits out. I bought this program a while back and just recently heard about the mature patch and after I put it on the error message shows up. Any help would be appreciated!

There is no version 1.16, that is for X9. Re-install FPSC, then run the mature patch, then in the map editor click help, then click check for updates.
