Does anybody understand these in the slightest? Any tutorials? I read the DB help file (which was very unhelpful) and ran the example program, but even it didn't run correctly on the 2nd try.

I'm looking for a way to put and get a file to/from some type of archive containing many files. I don't have DarkMATTER, so I can't use RAR dll's or anything of the sort.

I find it surprising and dubious that nobody has ever used the fileblock commands successfully for this purpose.

Ok I finally figured it out. I was looking for dirblocks to act as multi-file archives, not fileblocks.

Problem is that the dirblock is very insecure as the contents have to be extracted to a real location instead of to memory during runtime. Also, the contents of the dirblock aren't encrypted in any way.
