RedEye, the only scripts in the extra scriptpack are the legs and sprinting and possibly the compass. The new features that I personally made include:

o Working Health Indicator System
o Night Vision Goggles
o Thermal Vision Goggles
o Door breaching
o Airstrike Simulation
o Thermal Scope
o Night Vision Scope
o Flashight
o Maximum of 4 weapons (Primary, Secondary, Knife, Grenades)
o BulletPass through materials
o Breath Holding (Non-functional)

And not forgetting, this isn't just a scriptpack, it also contains other media such as sound and HUDs.

On a brighter note, this topic is now a hot thread I'll be giving a preview of my next release VERY soon

Do you know if the features listed are available in multiplayer too?

JJB Productions, once Fenix Mod and Project Green are merged together, I will focus on that mod for greater compatibility.

AaronG, I'm not sure. Maybe if you applied a script to a dynamic entity using the dynamic entity trick it may run, but I've never been too much of a multiplayer fan.

Thanks Cosmic Here's an idea if anyone wants to improve the thermal: when thermal is active, activate motion blur and bloom full screen shaders then disable them when not zoomed. It should look pretty close to Modern Warfare 2's version.

You'd have to edit the scripts and change the mod.ini screenshader values to all the same ones so it would be a bit of a workaround, but yes it should work.

im not sure if this has already been said but here i go. I thought that one of the main features it would have is a damage indicator.

And that themal sight looks to white with the NPC's, i think it needs different shades of white... Just to let you know

It...does?

Quote: "And that themal sight looks to white with the NPC's"

Then change it, I have no problems with people editing any of the files of mine they download (so long as they aren't re-released). That's what I love about packs like this - for those who can't script/texture they can use the pack as it is, but for those who want to go the extra step can adjust everything to their liking.

Responded. Sorry, it seems as FPSC emails I get sent are binned to the spam box

Nope it can be used with Project Green too (except for the stamina script). Blackfox is also working on a version which is compatible with RPG mod so keep your eyes open for that.

Hi i downloaded project green so that i could test the
themal.
And in your instructions you mention mod.ini file which
project green did't come with do you have to create this yourself.
Also what part of the trigger zone do you put the scripts.
Thanks

Good to see people are still using this!

mickeyb, for thermal you DO need Project Blue, as Project Green does not have full screen shaders which are required for the black and white. You put the scripts in the main part of the trigger zone.

Quote: "do i need to apply the huds in global script too? or is it just the scripts?"

Just in the scripts

There's been a major change of plans, and me and JRH have teamed up working on a joint project which should hopefully soon be out. It will be awesome

UPDATE

Due to the implementation of AirMod into v1.17, I'm also releasing a simplified version of the script pack which will function with 1.17.

This will include:

-Activated Decals
-Airstrike Simulation
-Objectives Script
-Night Vision

Download is attached to post.

This is not working at all in Project Blue for me... any suggestions why it isn't? Also I removed the files in the FPS Creator dir and I still have the skybox and for some reason I can't get rid of this high amount of red ambience, all ambience settings in the "Build Game" setuplevel.fpi are at 255 and the ambience amount is 10, which is what i set. Is it a scripting issue?

When I tell someone not to judge another, I go and judge someone... lolz

hey, in the simplified pack, how do I use the 4weapon script and the sprint script? I tried trigger zones that covered the whole layer, but no luck.

I need a new sig.

I haven't tested these scripts myself, I just assumed they would work because of the PB variable system and AirMod being implemented into 1.17. You are using 1.17, right?

Every thing is working I just have a question about the 4 weapons, I see in the test loading screen that if you press "T" it is supposed to drop a weapon. When I press "T" my screen just flickers. I don't see in the script where it disables that function. Can someone tell me if dropping a weapon is possible with the 4weapons.fpi?

No, it means a decal will not run until it has been activated, which is useful for explosions etc. (sorry, was a bit late with the response there ).

Quote: "Can someone tell me if dropping a weapon is possible with the 4weapons.fpi? "

It's not possible with the current script, but it wouldn't be hard to implement. Just run a condition to check for the keypress then use the removeweap command to remove the weapon.

Marc Steene,
Do you recommend doing that in the 4weapons script or in another script inside of another trigger zone? I'm not that slick at scripting but I'm gonna figure this out.

P.s. thanks for the answer so fast man, your a big help.

This is great! So it works with just stock FPSC 117 bc of AirMod integrated in 117?

If you don't try, you fail.
