Bloody James, let me spare you the rant you will probably get from KeithC or someone else..

He doesn't have to cut his price down. It may not be as good as Canalyst, and it may not be free, but that's HIS decision. He doesn't have to be cheaper because another game is.

Quote: "Why Canalyst (the best game that was posted here) was free and this will cost "

Bloody James, I have the confidence in my game to sell it for 2 dollars, doesnt that mean it worth it? Look at that game that just got published. http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=167119&b=21 That game (sorry to say) wasnt at all the best quality of game FPSC has created. But HE got a publishing deal. AND he's selling that game for 5 dollars. And I even said,
Quote: "Im pretty sure to all of those on TGC will get the game for free, and others will have to pay!"
so you dont have to worry about paying! Im being fair to the community.

I really hope you enjoy the game Bloody James. I have always been a fan of your work and ive looked up to your level design meathods. Please, dont read too much into the whole price deal. Im going to give it to the community as a "thank you" for all of you who have helped me. Then, if you all believe the game is good enough, ill try for a publishing deal.

Bloody James:
Well, Half-Life 2 is the awesomest game in the world, that doesen't mean that other games can't be sold, worse than that, not meaning that they are bad.

I'd say, sell this if you want. 2 dollars is not a bad price indeed! If I was you, I'd propably ask more, but itäs up to you to decide! I hope you release and sell this, cause there is people who will buy! I am also planning on doing a commercial game, even thou it will never be as good as Canalyst. So go on!

Also, the new screens look amazing! You are getting better and better all the time! Keep up the amazing work! I'd love to see this going commercial!

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things that I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.

Thank you so much Metal Devil! It makes me happy to see people that actually like the game! It makes me work harder knowing that there are people who cant wait for the release. I hope you like the game when it is released. Please tell me if you have any questions or commenets on the game! The demo should be released some time this weekend. Or maybe Monday. Depending on when I can re-install the program.

Shadowtroid, im starting to get that glitch again where the flashlight is only lighting up entities and not the segments. Do you happen to remember how to fix that?

In this last level you're in for the demo, the building is beginning to fall apart so Dominic has to find his way around broken-in roofs and busted down walls. A bit of a puzzle map, if you ask me. It should be fun!

About the glitch, it's the Fenix mod flashlight, so I don't know what the problem would be...

Do you have full shaders on?

I'm not getting this issue, so...

Im going to go back into the previous levels and see if I needed some sort of trigger zone to make that glitch go away. I know I solved it in the previous levels. So after this quick test Ill try and fix it up.

Just put in some "fluff."

Barrels, little boards of wood, maybe some trash, etc. etc.

I gotta say, I like you level design. I could not do that.

Things that could improve that
*Support Beams going to the walls too
*And Add some Model Pack 3 Barrels on the left
*up a Pallete
*and some crates on the right
*Small ones up Bigones
*and a pallete being supported by them

Looks good.

Yeah, FPSC is not what many would call..."reliable." Especially Fenix Mod. I don't know what it is, but people have all these different kinds of problems that others don't have. Guess we'll never really know.

(are u using static lights for the last shots) if they are increase the light map quality in the setup.ini then u will get some awesome shadows.
these are my settings

i recommend doing this last though because it increases the test game loading time

Wow, I've missed alot! This project is going awesomely! You seem to be having a nice fog kinda effect.
The first screenie on this page has a dynamic looking... well I'll call it a bowl on the table. Would it harm anyone turning that static?

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things that I can,

Hey Shaka.

You got anything else for me to do?

BTW, I got that flashlight script to work-ish. I made some adjustments, and you can't use it after the battery is out, but maybe it can have a slowly recharging battery. I also have a proper batter pickup script ready, so if you decide to go that route, I'm good.

I will say I was procrastinating a bit...But then that actually helped me with the script. I was playing Half-life 2, and while using the flashlight, suddenly it came to me. I was very happy with myself.
