Greetings Lan, I am sure you have heard this before, but can you please post all the specs of your computer. This includes processor, RAM, and the graphics card so I can determine if its the system. Also the Operating system. From there I can help you.

Vista 32-bit Home Premium, Core-2 Quad Processor, 3GB of RAM, and an NVIDEA GeForce 8500GT Video card

but I don't think any of these things are the problem.

Hey, those are the exact same specs I used to have. The GeForce 8500 is supported btw, I know because I had one from the time I got X10 all the way until I got my laptop a few months ago (it won't be able to handle larger levels but it does work). The little GPU that could, so to speak.

Now we don't know enough to know what might be causing the errors, what version of FPSC are you using? What sort of game are you building?

Ok first off, lets start off with what version of FPSC x10 are you using? make sure that when you had re-installed you updated to 1.09. If it is lets move on, the 8500 is supported but lags. Go to www.nvidia.com and update your cards drivers. Third. What are you putting into your levels? meaning, anything you downloaded from here? custom work? default stuff from FPSC? what is it. Weapon? human? item?

Unhelpful Titles

Please do not simply write "Noob Question", "I am a newb", "One Noobie Question", "A question", "Please help", "This isn't working" or anything similar as the title of your post. We have a search facility, and meaningless titles do not help others find answers to their questions. It will also help you to get quicker responses if people have an idea of your thread content.

Look - I had the most recent version. I tried to install the weather system (I forget who made it, but I think they also made zombies). Then it stopped working. I have completely uninstalled it twice. My specs are not the problem, and I don't know what is.

EDIT: it was rolfy's weather pack

i have rolfy's system and you will not be able to use the tunnels or land entitys unless you can re model or change the necessary files in fps segments and change the tga files to dds. the weather as in snow rain and sand work fine on my x10 and i altered my entitys ie the 2 super landscapes to work also, my skys work too so the only thing needed to do is the segments. and they always bring up errors. i reckon if its not the segments then its your card. also are you using x10.1 driver and the necessary updates all are needed. but i think your 8500 is struggling to keep up with x10 demands as all graphics are calculated in the gpu not in your quad so i think you need a good cache ie 300 plusz, and as recommended use 8800 and up. so your well bellow spec. but try using without rolfys segments and two landscapes

an unquenchable thirst for knowledge of game creation!!!
